It’s compact and lightweight design make it an affordable choice for travel and general-use, the Ultra Sonic Motor (USM) motor drives autofocus extremely quickly and quietly, with excellent holding torque ensuring the point of focus is reached accurately. A circular 8-bladed aperture diaphragm gives out-of-focus regions a softer look, letting sharp foreground objects stand out against elegant bokeh.
